German Hospital Quality Report
As professionally independent institution defined in section 137a of the German Social Code, Book Five (SGB V), the AQUA Institute has been commissioned by the Federal Joint Committee (G-BA) with the implementation of the mandatory quality assurance in Germany since October 2010. This includes the development of new quality assurance procedures as well as the maintenance of the current clinical areas.
The Hospital Quality Reports give an overview over the national results of the clinical areas with mandatory documentation in the respective data collection year. Thus they inform about the national quality of hospital care.
